Poster specifications and structure of oral sessions and symposia

Please follow the instructions below for your communications:

Poster Format: 

Standard A0 size (dimensions 118.9 x 84.1 cm).

Display boards will be set up in the lobby (ground floor) of the Uni Mail building. Each presenter’s board number is available in the detailed program as well as in the conference booklet distributed at the reception desk. Presenters are kindly asked to put up their posters in the morning. Tape will be available at the reception stand.

Each presenter is required to be present in front of their poster throughout their poster session.

Simultaneous translation via PowerPoint (French/English – English/French) will be available for oral presentations and symposia. Please make sure to use PowerPoint.

Format of Thematic Oral Communication Sessions:

• Sessions include 3 to 4 oral presentations.

• Total duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes for sessions with 4 presentations (15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions), and 1 hour and 10 minutes for sessions with 3 presentations.

A computer will be available in each room for video projection. Each speaker is kindly asked to arrive:

• At 8:45 a.m. in the room of their presentation if it is scheduled in the morning.

• At 1:00 p.m. in the room of their presentation if it is scheduled in the afternoon.

And to upload their presentation to the desktop of the computer.

Format of Symposia: 

Total duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes for symposia with 4 oral presentations (including Q&A and conclusion), and 1 hour and 10 minutes for symposia with 3 presentations.

A computer will be available in the rooms for video projection. Each symposium organizer is kindly asked to collect all PowerPoint presentations and upload them to the desktop of the computer:

• At 8:45 a.m. in the presentation room if the symposium is scheduled in the morning.

• At 1:00 p.m. in the presentation room if the symposium is scheduled in the afternoon.
